The Drilling & Completions (D&C) Applications group within ITC Upstream IT Applications is responsible for overall delivery of D&C IT services to the business units. The D&C Applications group enables the vision and strategy of the D&C Function by providing reliable and cost competitive IT services. D&C IT will work with Upstream Capability D&C to provide the business units with the strategic direction, D&C IT standards and procedures, as well as service billing and recovery strategies for the IT services that are centrally provided. The D&C IT Function Strategy provides the overall vision and shaping curve to achieve the goals of the D&C function.
This role provides primary support for Global D&C applications by leveraging the SAFe methodology. The candidate must have experience with application support processes, understand IT Service Management practices and prior experience in SAFe or agile is a plus. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, project management, communication and organizational skills and would have experience in the Upstream domain and applications.

Learn to develop on leading edge platforms such as PowerApps
Expand business acumen in Drilling & Completions(D&C) and extend networks through close partnership with D&C
Engineers; SMEs in Upstream business units; and colleagues across the IT function
Highly visible, business facing role with an opportunity to lead change through simplification/automation of business workflows
Key Responsibilities:
• Support key D&C applications for Global Upstream BU(s), such as (but not limited to) WellView, RigView, Landmark
• Engineer’s Desktop and tools delivered by Field Work Enablement Program (FWEP)
• Implement and support key D&C and Upstream IT digital initiatives like cloud migrations and SaaS implementations
• Collaborate on D&C Digital Platform initiatives; provide IT insight and consulting; identify and recommend alternatives to maximize efficiencies
• Define business requirements and ensure alignment with established standards and technologies by working with Product Owners and Solution Area Coordinators
• Develop capabilities related to SAFe Agile and scrum
• Manage projects using SAFe Agile mindset/methodology
• Coordinate and apply a structured change management approach and methodologies
• Understand and be able to implement and validate Information Risk Management requirements in alignment with Chevron
• Standards and Controls
• Seek opportunities for performance improvement
• Lead and manage IRSM activities for team

Skills Requirements:
• Troubleshoot minor to major application issues - understand coding/database concepts and development methodologies
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize, negotiate, and execute
• Responsible for implementing upgrades, enhancements, and hotfixes provided by vendor for on-prem, cloud and SaaS applications
• Maintain D&C Application SoP (Standard Operating Procedures) for Central and Business Units IT staff
• Coordinate and assist software lifecycle management
• Business analysis and relationship management
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple efforts at once
• Ability to grasp new business processes and rapidly assess needs
• Experience adhering to or implementing Information Protection processes and ITSM processes (e.g., Change Management, Incident Management, Release Management)
• Responsible for IRM tasks and application checklists, including coordination of IRM audits
